The Wedding Standard members enjoyed an evening of community, fun drinks, and amazing tapas at Luna Red, San Luis Obispo wedding reception and rehearsal dinner space. Drinks with flavor and spice were mixed up as guests arrived. Luna Red's extensive cocktail list includes drinks with cool refreshing ingredients like aloe, cucumber, mint and agave nectar. Cocktails are served all day, and are especially popular during the weekly happy hour times.
Avenue Twelve showcased bohemian inspired pieces including a full lounge, cocktail tables, and these fun fringe umbrellas, perfect for the Spanish style patio at Luna Red. Bright colors and mixed patterns set the stage for the design, and floral pieces from Eden Floral and plants from Avenue Twelve.
Guests enjoyed tasting Spanish style tapas like bacon wrapped dates, papas bravas, and grilled pawns, followed by hot paella served in the cooking pan. A long taco bar provided the perfect stationed style food for guests to eat while they caught up. Each season, the chefs at Luna Red dream up a new menu with exciting new elements.
Rachael of Eden Floral SLO colorful and dimensional arrangements and small bloom filled bud vases to showcase the inside dining space, perfect for wedding reception dinners, wedding rehearsal dinners and after parties. Each arrangement was hand made with no floral foam, and select blooms were foraged locally.
San Luis Obispo wedding DJ Damian Camacho spent the night playing a mix of new music and classic favorites, all on original vinyl records. Guests stopped by to pick out tunes, and look through his impressive record collection.
