San Luis Obispo has a new downtown accommodation, SLO Brew Lofts, that feels big city with all the small town charm of a beloved college town. These trendy new lofts are perfect for a weekend getaway! Recently Cameron Ingalls threw his wife a small birthday party with Torres Catering dishing up an amazing 5 course meals, paired wonderfully with local wines. SLO Brew Lofts offer five 2-3 bedroom apartments complete with views of Higuera Street and balconies overlooking the creek. This venue is a perfect place for a bridal party wedding weekend take over or bachelorette party!

"We had the opportunity to serve some great guests in an amazing venue a few weeks ago and we wanted to share with you our experience. Cooking at SLO Brew Lofts for an intimate group of 6 to 12 people is one of our favorite thing to do. On this particular evening we cooked for a total of 6 guests and did 5 courses. All of the course paired with some of our favorite wines on the Central Coast. What made these guest great were there open-nese to a creative menu but at the same time had many dietary restrictions. Most Chef's cringe at that thought of dietary restrictions but this Chef faced it head on!" - Kari of Torres Catering

"Our 5 course meal consisted of a delicious artichoke soup, a Mexican inspired Key West Pink Shrimp Dish, an local Petralel Sole dish that was Sous Vide (our Birthday Girls favorite of the night), a decadent Pork Belly dish. We finished it off with a wonderful local Teff porridge with kumquats, cashews, honey and basil. Some of the wine pairings where a Chardonnay by Beckman Vineyards in Santa Ynez. We poured a Baker and Brain Pinot out of Los Osos and then a Landmark Pinot from Sonoma. We finished off our savory courses with S Bar from Baileyana and a Villa San Juliette Cab. This whole meal was wheat, dairy, nut except cashew, and beef free." - Kari Torres of Torres Catering
