We decided to not only put out the publication but join forces to do a shoot as well. Instead of having a fake wedding with models we decided we would throw a party for us; our way. Who doesn't love parties?!
Our Ezine editorial team is April Peet of April Flowers, Jessica Tringali of Paper Sky Store, Whitney Hoffman of Rosey Caligraphy and (me) Cameron Ingalls (I did the photos and video).
We gathered a crew of talented artists and had our soiree at Hammersky Winery. Since we didn't have an ceremony to center the day around it became all about the dinner (and the wine!). Haute Catering outdid themselves and served a 3 course meal that blew our minds and freaked out our taste buds. They served the most amazing appetizers paired with adult beverages and then proceeded to deliver course after course with a brick oven pizza finish! We enjoyed Hammersky Wine and beer from Dunbar Brewery. Archive Rentals came up from Southern California to set us up with the perfect furniture and accessories.
We had a team of wedding hair & makeup stylists, from Bluebird Salon, Janina Cannon, Brit Tarr, and Olivia Michel. They spent hours giving the ladies (and some men) a fashionable look for the shoot. It was totally a different thing to have our team of artists actually be the models too! But it was the perfect way for us to sit back and celebrate the beautiful scene we had created together.
For entertainment we had Moore Photo Booth . The photo booth is a must at weddings these days! They are a great opportunity for guests to really be themselves (or sillier versions of themselves) at your party. DJ Malik specializes in spinning records and played music from across the globe to seamlessly fit as the perfect soundtrack to the evening. The Brazilian song featured in the video is by Jorge Ben and perfectly summed up our outdoor dining atmosphere.
