Isabel and Wyatt took romance to a whole new level at their gorgeous fairy-tale-like wedding at the Ebell of Los Angeles. The massive, stunning venue spoke for itself which allowed for minimal decor arrangements. Isabel's gorgeous wedding gown and bridal accessories brought luminous detail to the moody ambiance of the space. San Luis Obispo wedding photographer Alexandra Wallace captured the beauty of each detail and I had the pleasure of interviewing the bride about the day.

Their Love Story

"We originally met in elementary school and then reconnected years later. We got engaged in 2020 and FaceTimed all our loved ones to tell them. We picked a date far out enough for our wedding in hopes to be able to celebrate with everyone in person. We had the most incredible wedding and celebration on February 19th, 2022."

The Inspiration

"Our style was classic, romantic, and moody. Our venue was beautiful so we didn't need over the top decor. We focused on romantic colors, roses, and blooming branches for the transition from winter to spring."

Color Palette

"We focused on reds, burgundy, blush, and white. Our accent color was gold."

Memorable Moments

"I will never forget our vows to each other during the ceremony. Dancing during our reception was the most fun I've ever had. It was a great night."

The Details

"I loved our cake "topper" it was a figurine of our dog Remy that my maid of honor made. He was placed on the cake to look like he had taken a bite out of the cake. It was incredibly special."

Knowing what you know now... what advice would you have for other brides planning their wedding?

"Don't get too caught up in the stress of planning and enjoy your engagement and the process."

What was the most challenging part about planning your wedding?

"Planning with family."
