Perfect golden hour views, luxurious florals and details, and a wild west venue ambiance makes for the dreamiest ranch style wedding. We had the pleasure of hosting a venue launch party for the new and stunning Santa Margarita wedding venue Riata Ranch. Read the previous blog, Late Summer Soiree at Riata Ranch, to see the details of this memorable day. Along with this lively gathering, Rose with San Luis Obispo Rose To The Occasion Events executed the most beautiful styled shoot to showcase the awe inspiring potential of someone's dream wedding. San Luis Obispo Stefanie Elizabeth Photography captured every detail and I was able to interview her about the process.

The Inspiration

"The Wedding Standard teamed up with Rose To The Occasion Events and created a magical evening filled with the best talent the local wedding industry has to offer. Taking place at Riata Ranch, tucked in the hills of Santa Margarita local wedding vendors gathered to celebrate each other. As custom signage from Lovely Fest rocked in the late Sumer breeze, friends relaxed on rentals from All About Events and dined on irresistible canapés thanks to Brick and Mortar Catering Company while sipping on on curated drinks courtesy of Copper and Crystal. Flowers by Kim adorned the tables in seasonal beauty as David Tate Music filled the air. Guests lined up for Instagrammable selfies next to the glowing "Riata Ranch" sign from Alpha Lit Central Coast. In addition to curated drinks guests also had to the option to enjoy Ancient Peaks wine while indulging on dessert from Haute Sugar Co. As the sun kissed the top of the hills surrounding Riata Ranch Stefanie Elizabeth Photography and Moon Crest Media captured old and new friends gathering as Cameron Ingalls, one of the great minds behind the Wedding Standard spoke about friendship, business and the wonderful family-like wedding industry the Central Coast has to offer. The evening concluded with a sun soaked bride and groom session with Jillian and Anthony. An already stunning bride glowed from the hair and makeup team at The Queens Bee's and like a period to a sentence a custom hat for the groom from Stella By Sabreena fit perfectly with the evenings theme."

The Vision

"My vision for this shoot was rustic elegance, enhanced by bohemian details."

The Details

"As a photographer, I'm always excited about golden hour and Riata Ranch shows up for one of the most magical times of day one can witness. From the rolling hills of the central coast, their trees gently blowing in the wind, as well as the horse pastures on the property, it's a magical place to spend a magical time."
