Meet the Pickles—A fun, rowdy western couple who scuttled down to Aah Ranch, which lies just a few properties down from their own. The venue might be new to the California Central Coast wedding industry, but it is already making its way into our hearts.
For Taylor and Kyle, it is only fitting that their western lifestyle grew roots on their wedding day. The warm rustic tones of their color palette filled their venue space in the most elegant western way and perfectly reflected the joy radiating from everyone in attendance. The vendor team did an outstanding job of highlighting cowboy influences while spicing up the day with the couple’s stellar personality—Do you see their pickle bar? California Photographer Danielle Honea captured all the details, so you do not have to worry about missing out!
From dancing in their boots, swinging their cowboy hats in the air, and smiling all day, we love every bit of this country, rustic, and fun wedding. Keep scrolling to learn more about the Pickles and view their beautiful wedding day.
Their Love Story
"We met a little over two years ago on the dating app bumble. And after thinking we were both being catfished we finally met only to be a cliche of what you would call love at first site. We have been inseparable ever since that first date and quickly knew we wanted to marry each other. Although I knew I wanted to marry Kyle the proposal was a complete surprise, his family was taking their annual family photos and his sister taking maternity/first birthday photos for her daughters and once it came to taking photos of just Kyle and I he got down on a knee and popped the big question! Wedding planning was in full effect shortly after and we tied the knot on July 30 2022."
Their Wedding Inspiration
"Our wedding was western and it was only fitting considering that's our lifestyle and our venue was a ranch just a couple properties down from our own."
The Memorable Moments
"The entire wedding was very memorable but the ceremony was short, sweet, and to the point. Seeing the look on Kyle's face as I walked down the aisle was something I will never forget since we didn't do a first look."
The Details
"Being that our last name is Pickles I'd say I loved that we had a pickle bar at cocktail our with an assortment of pickled snacks, the floral and ceremony were also a highlight considering I planned the whole wedding and my mother in law did all our florals herself. My dress was also a highlight and my dream dress, my mother in law also custom altered it to have a rip away train so we didn't have to bustle it."
Their Wedding Planning Advice
"Do anything and everything you can as soon as possible, even if you think you have time just do it now. Stay true to you and your spouses opinions and don't let anyone else's opinion take over, it's your day!"
