Timeless accessories, chandeliers, black and white touches, cigars, and old-fashioned's -- these are just a few of many details in this wedding that embody vintage charm. Bailey and Tyler tied the knot at Holland Ranch, and it was the perfect day celebrating their love while every detail was beautifully executed and made to perfection with Bailey's chic personality entwined. I had the pleasure of interviewing the bride about the special day.

Their Love Story

"Our love story began at Giuseppe's in San Luis Obispo back in 2019, where Tyler was a busser and I was a hostess. From the start, it felt like we had always known each other. After 5 years together, Tyler proposed during a cozy night in, with our dog wearing his grandmother's ring around his neck. Less than 10 months later, we were married--surrounded by the people who've been cheering us on from the beginning!"

Memorable Moments

"One of the most special moments of the day was our first look. Seeing Tyler's reaction and having that quiet time together before the ceremony meant everything to me--it's a memory I'll always treasure. Another unforgettable moment was our ceremony. It felt so intimate and personal, especially with our friend--who originally set us up--officiating. Instead of a large wedding party, we chose to have just our siblings stand beside us, which made it feel even more meaningful."

The Details

"One of my favorite details was the classic car we used for our ceremony exit and sunset photos--even doing a lap around cocktail hour. It felt so unique and cinematic, and the photos of us with the car are some of my absolute favorites. I also loved the paper bow we had made and added to the back for a personal touch. Another unforgettable moment was a surprise from our wedding planner--cold sparks during our first dance and throughout the night on the dance floor. It made everything feel so magical."

The Inspiration

"I've always been the kind of girl who dreamt about her wedding, and I knew from the start that I wanted it to feel timeless. I avoided bold trends and vibrant colors, opting instead for a classic aesthetic--even my dress reflected that. I was also lucky to have an incredible wedding planner who's known me most of my life; she helped ground my vision and guided me toward textures and styles that truly felt like me."

Color Palette

"We chose a classic black-and-white color palette and even asked our guests to wear black. To complement the timeless look, we incorporated brass accents and vintage pieces throughout the décor for a touch of warmth and character."

Knowing what you know now... what advice would you have for other brides planning their wedding?

"My advice? Make wedding planning fun! Set the mood with a cocktail and your favorite meal or snack--it should feel like a hangout, not a chore. I also recommend creating a clear timeline to keep yourself on track. And if organization isn't your thing, be sure to have someone--whether it's a friend, your partner, or a planner--help keep you focused and on task."

If you used The Wedding Standard service when planning your wedding can you tell us what you loved about it?

"I loved having The Wedding Standard as a resource throughout the entire planning process. No matter what stage I was in, I could always count on it to connect me with trusted, reputable vendors right here on the Central Coast. It's not only a directory--it's a curated hub of inspiration, advice, and real weddings that helped guide my vision and decisions. It truly felt like having a go-to insider's guide for planning locally and beautifully."
