Flying Caballos Ranch, a beautiful and historic San Luis Obispo wedding venue that offers amazing accommodations, just launched their latest addition: a beautiful modern barn! This venue launch, Barn Bash edition, was wonderfully designed by Spark and Sparkle Events, catered by Farmhouse Corner Market, and had beautiful florals by Flowers by Denise and the event was photographed by San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer, Mike Larson.
The amazing property is located in the rolling green hills of Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo, California. With a historic farmhouse, a gorgeous guesthouse, a cottage studio, and a honeymoon water tower suite, the beautiful modern barn is a great addition to any wedding or event. The spacious barn has an elegant spin on the usual rustic barn feel and the string lights hanging outside provide the perfect ambiance for a special end to your big day!
Can you describe your vision for this shoot?
Words from the designer, Kacey of Spark and Sparkle Events: "I envisioned a dark, wild and artistic display to show off the versatility of this awesome new space!"
The beautiful barn decor and tables designed by Spark & Sparkle Events was brought together with the help of BBJ Linens, All About Events, and Bella Vista Designs and had fun lounges by Scout Rental Co. All of the calligraphy and signage was artfully created by Bow and Arrow.
As one who contributed to the design what was your inspiration?
The barn at Flying Caballos has so many inspiring details - I chose to focus on the mirrored accents inside and outside the barn, as well as the Art Deco details in the fixtures.
The greatest addition to any party: The Station SLO's adorable wine wagon!
Describe 1 or 2 details that you were the most excited about.
I was most excited to see the florals come together! Denise was so fun to work with and it was incredible to watch our vision come to life!
The Wanderful Photo Booth was the perfect fun addition to the party!
Copper & Crystal provided an amazing bar service and kombucha cocktails with San Luis Obispo based company, Whalebird Kombucha.
Cameron Ingalls, founder of The Wedding Standard, shared about courage and the power of overcoming fears. Freedom is found when you step outside of your comfort zone and face your fears and this great courage can lead to immense growth in both a business and personal sense.
Kacey of Spark & Sparkle Events beautifully designed the whole event. Each and every detail was artfully put together to create an amazing display to showcase the new barn at Flying Caballos Ranch and have a fun party that everyone enjoyed!
The best desserts made by Paper Cake Events and a fun dance party with great tunes by DJ Malik Miko.was the perfect way to end the night!
