This San Luis Obispo Bridal shoot, Windswept, all began with a stunning, hand stitched bridal gown from Russia created by Milamira Bridal.  The beautiful shoot was a collaboration of talented vendors including Michelle Roller Photography who elegantly captured all the sensational details and Janet Tacy of Sandcastle Celebrations who encapsulated all that Central Coast beaches have to offer by creating a natural yet stunning backdrop that showcased the windswept inspiration.

Here is what Janet has to say about the shoot!

Can you describe your vision for this shoot?

Drawing from a pallet of soft grays and blues with brass and gold accents, I sought to capture the natural beauty of California's central coast.   A billowing canopy structure constructed with birch branches echoed the sails of a sailboat. A dining table set with gold rim china and glass ware from Italy nestled elegantly within this natural structure.  The napkins and cheese cloth table runner were dip dyed to reflect the ombre colors of the sea.   Vintage trunks, wooden crates and lanterns anchored these stylistic elements.  The floral designs created by Eden Floral utilized both native plants and conventionally grown florals.  A vintage brass urn used for the centerpiece showcased the delicate florals.  The bridal bouquet accented the exquisite fabric of the bridal gown.  The torn and trailing fabric tied to the bouquet complemented the gown.   Paper Cake Events created a gorgeous cake that reflected the waves of the sea.  Edible gold foil was used to decorate both the cake and the delicious French macaroons. The invitation suite created by Morningside paper studio utilized a stunning mix of watercolors and gold foil.  The suite perfectly captured every element of the inspiration.  What started as a beautiful hand-made gown coalesced into an exciting bridal inspiration shoot showcasing many talented vendors from California's Central Coast.

As one who contributed to the design, what was your inspiration?
