Alyssa + Joven's summer wedding at Paso Robles wedding venue Terra Mia was filled with soft color and tons of texture with florals inspired by their favorite places. The couple enjoyed their time in the sun and then kicked it into gear for an epic dance party. Read on to see all of the fun details from this unforgettable day. With planning and design by Paso Robles wedding planner + designer Vino Fiore Events, the day unfolded beautifully and was captured by San Luis Obispo wedding photographer Cameron Ingalls.
Girl Meets Boy
Joven and Alyssa met through a mutual friend. They had their first date at In N Out Burger 4 years ago! After that day, everything else was history. Joven planned a very special proposal during Alyssa's college graduation trip to Nassau, Bahamas. He made sure it was a night to remember by having the words "Will you marry me?" in rose pedals on the beach during sunset. He even hired a photographer to capture the moment!

Alyssa knew she wanted "modern with a beachy feel" as the theme. The couple absolutely loves Hawaii and tropical flowers, but we wanted to take this feel and make it our own in Paso Robles, CA. We loved the neutral modern colors like black and white, but added touches of pink, mauves to our design. Additionally, our florals included tropical greenery and pampas grass.
San Luis Obispo wedding planner Vino Fiore Events got to know her couple and designed a wedding that captured their love story completely.
From Nena: "This couple wanted to create a fun and hip vibe. We used black and white design for the napkins. The modern stone ware for place settings and Avenue Twelve's awesome inventory to tie it all together. Creating a hip, modern beach style. The overall style of this wedding was very different than what I typically tend to do. So creating something that isn't the norm pushes you as a designer. I love a good challenge and not to mention this bride was so easy going and fun"
From Nena: "Laurel from Adornments Flowers & Finery is the San Luis Obispo wedding floral queen. As a designer and florist myself I look up to her so much. The brides bouquet was probably one of the prettiest bouquets I have ever seen. She just creates magic."
Knowing what you know now... what advice would you have for other brides planing their wedding?
From The Bride: "Don't sweat the small stuff. Your adrenaline will be going all day and you won't notice half of the things that can potentially go wrong! Just enjoy and live in the moment!"
